Customer reviews

What UK families say about the Knock Phone.

Knock launched in May 2026. The first cohort of UK families is just receiving their phones. Real, verified reviews from real customers will start appearing here from Spring 2026 onward. We will not invent reviews to fill the gap.

Where we collect reviews

Three sources, transparently.

  • Trustpilot UK

    In setup

We will list Trustpilot as our primary public review source. Setup is in progress.

  • Google Reviews

    Pending Google Business Profile verification

Google Business Profile claim pending. Knock is a new business, May 2026.

  • Smartphone Free Childhood

    Mentioned in the community

Knock is referenced in the SFC parent WhatsApp groups. Not a review platform, but worth a link.

In the right shape, awaiting real customers

Three placeholder testimonials.

Below are three placeholders written by Knock to show the shape and length we publish reviews in. They are clearly marked as placeholders. Real customer reviews will replace them once the first cohort has had the kit for 30 days.

  • Placeholder, awaiting real review

“We had been putting it off the way you put off rewiring the kitchen. The phone arrived on the Thursday. We did the conversation that night. By the second week of half-term she had stopped asking about her friends' Instagram and started doing handstands in the garden again.”

  • Placeholder, awaiting real review

“I had not realised the conversation was half pauses until I read the script through. She cried, I did not fill the silence, she came back to it twenty seconds later. We were done in twenty-two minutes. Three months later, we have not had the conversation again.”

  • Placeholder, awaiting real review

“The bit I did not expect was the friends. Two other families switched in the same fortnight. By the second week the three of them had started a Sunday-night phone call instead of the group chat. None of us thought a landline-style call would come back. It has.”

How we respond to reviews

Within 24 hours, by Knock, in writing.

  1. Every review (positive, neutral, negative) is read by Knock within 24 hours of posting.
  2. Negative reviews get a written reply, a proposed resolution, and a follow-up.
  3. We never delete or hide a negative review. We respond, we fix what we can, and we leave the public record intact.
  4. Where a review points at a real product issue, the issue gets logged and the next batch is changed.

Reviews FAQ.

Why are there no reviews yet?

Knock launched in May 2026. We're in the first month of trading and the first cohort of customers is just receiving their phones. Real reviews from real families will start appearing here from Spring 2026 onward. We will not pretend to have reviews we don't have.

How do you respond to negative reviews?

Within 24 hours, in writing, by Knock. We never delete or hide a negative review. We respond, we offer a resolution, and where appropriate we update the product or the kit. The full complaint pathway is on /policies.

Will you offer incentives to leave a review?

No. Per Trustpilot policy and our own values, no discount, freebie or incentive is offered in exchange for a review. We send one short post-purchase email asking for honest feedback, after the kit has been with you for 30 days.

Where can I leave a review?

Once Trustpilot is live (target end May 2026), the link to leave a review will appear here. In the meantime, email hello@knockphone.co.uk with your feedback and we will publish it (with your permission and your first name + city only) on the journal or on this page.
